Introduction
Methylmercury is an environmental pollutant with strong neurotoxicity. When industrial wastewater, mercury-containing pesticides, inorganic mercury salts in mercury-containing waste gas and inorganic mercury in the natural environment enter the ocean, the action of methylcobalamin becomes an organic heavy metal methylmercury, which is enriched in fish and aquatic organisms. Due to its lipophilicity, bioaccumulation and biomagnification effects, the toxicity of methylmercury is hundreds of times that of other mercury compounds. After entering the human body, methylmercury is distributed in various organs and tissues throughout the body, which mainly invades the central nervous system and can cause language and memory disorders. It is precisely because of the great toxicity of methylmercury that testing and controlling the mercury content in food is very necessary.
physical and chemical properties
methylmercury (Methylmercury) is a highly toxic secondary environmental pollutant. It can cause poisoning reactions of many Beijing, multiple organs and multiple tissues in the raw body. Methylmercury has high accumulation, which determines that it is more harmful, especially the impact on human beings is more and more serious. The pollution of methylmercury worldwide is becoming more and more serious, and the domestic situation is not optimistic. Methylmercury is extremely toxic and is a difficult problem in environmental protection. It not only causes environmental pollution and serious ecological damage, but also causes many diseases of many animals.
processing method
(1) Use a cation resin exchanger for ion exchange. The height of the exchanger is 3 meters, and it is filled with 6 tons of macroporous hydrophobic cation resin. The water containing methylmercury cation flows into the ion exchanger for ion exchange, and the flow rate is 5 tons/hour. When it is detected that the methylmercury content in the tail liquid of the exchanger exceeds 0.00005mg/L, take out the cationic resin in the exchanger and put it into a regeneration kettle for resin regeneration;
(2) the regeneration solution is a mixed solution containing saturated sodium chloride by adding sodium chloride to a solution with a concentration of 8% stannous chloride, which is regenerated under stirring conditions. the ratio of the regeneration solution to the resin is 1:5, the stirring time is 60 minutes, and the temperature is 40 ℃. after the regeneration is completed, the resin and the mercury-containing liquid are separated, and the mercury-containing liquid is collected into the sedimentation tank. The regenerated resin is loaded into the original resin tower for recycling.
(3) adjust the pH of the obtained mercury-containing liquid with sodium hydroxide to be greater than 10, and filter to obtain mercury-containing precipitate.
(4) Smelting mercury-containing precipitation in a smelting furnace at a high temperature of 560°C to recover mercury vapor and condense to obtain metal mercury products.
detected by gas chromatography: the content of methylmercury in the regenerated resin tower tail liquid is 0.0000047mg/L, which meets the emission standard requirements (surface water environmental quality standard GB3838-2002).
